Title: FX Network problems...
Post by: John on October 28, 2002, 07:43:50 PM
Does anyone here watch the cable channel FX, especially on the east coast? The reason I ask is that I often watch the daily repeats of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and since they started, they haven't aired a single episode that didn't have major digital screwups in it. The picture will freeze, break up into blocks, black out, play in jerky slow motion etc. This often happens several times per hour and it isn't confined to the show either, it sometimes happens on the commercials.

I'm wondering if this is a problem with FX or my cable company. I haven't tried reporting it to the cable company yet because I can't be sure it's their fault and I hate dealing with them. According to them, they almost never had any problems and everytime I call to report one, they swear that I'm the only person to have noticed anything wrong and claim that everything is working perfectly. The problems never last long enough to actually get someone on the phone during them, so the idiot who answers the phone will flip that channel on, not see anything wrong and declare that the problem must be a loose connection on my end. >:{

So has anyone else noticed hourly problems on FX, or am I the only one to get this special treatment?
