Title: The old switcheroo...With Dr Smith...
Post by: Flangepart on May 08, 2001, 03:07:05 PM
As the Professor....Will Robinson as Gilligen....Okey, heresThe Marx Brothers  the thought. I was watching TV Land, and i realised something. You could switch the characters        and actors from, say, Gilligens Island, and put them on the Jupiter 2, and vise versa...and the shows would, likely, still work! Weird. Dr smith as we know him, same delivery and mannerisims...but speaking the professors lines. Of corse its insane, i thought of it! The scary thing is...it could work. Hey, at least a 10 minute bit on SNL.  What do you guys think, and which other TV show/movie characters would you like to see in a different story environment then you nornaly think of them? Could be interesting.......Like, "A night on the Enterprise" starring the Marx Brothers. Or.....

I think that I'd stick the Marx Brothers in the middle of "Friends" as Phoebe's weird uncles.  It would explain some things too.

There are a number of people I'd like to see appear on "Cops" and I don't mean as the host.

I would like to see the original "Star Wars" trilogy with Shemp Howard as Luke Skywalker, Moe Howard as Han Solo, Curly Howard as Chewbacca, Emil Sitka ("Hold hands, you lovebirds!") as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Larry Fine as Yoda/Wedge/Leia, and Ted Healy as Darth Vader with a special appearance by Curly Joe as Anakin Skywalker.

"Use the force, you lovebirds!"
"Lookit the size of that thing! Ngggggyaaaaah!"
"Fly this bird, chowderhead!" (Bonk!)
"Wooooooooooooowoowoowoowoo!!!"
