Don't know if it matters...couldn't hurt...
You've got my vote. "Farscape" is one of my favourite shows, and in my country they have only shown up to season 3. Only hope they end it the proper way, without nasty cliffhangers.
Oh, please...no cliff hangers. I hate that!
Farscape did a good job with their cliffhangers. Unfortunately, with Sci-Fi bouncing their schedule all over the place, Farscape's seriel nature to many plot lines made it difficult for people to latch on to.
If Sci-Fi had given half the effort they gave to Lexx (which I happen to like) or such dreck as "Crossing Over" or "X-Files"....
I don't dislike X-Files, I don't know it well enough to say, but there are already half a dozen stations picking it up in syndication reruns. Does Sci-Fi really need to play three episodes a night?

Good example of the philosophy of giving people a lot of what you already know most of them like, as opposed to giving something different a chance.
Sadder still, the X-Files is a decent show, and will be thoroughly beaten to death by the time they're done with it. Even its biggest fans are going to get sick of it at that rate.

Scifi's explanation (http://www.scifi.com/farscape/)
By the Way, I forgot to say that their explanation is lame. I wrote to them and eplained that what it looks like is when a show is bad, it gets canceled, but when a show is good, it gets canceled too?? They were to blame for the low ratings. The playing around with the time and NOT SHOWING IT FOR MONTHS WHEN IT WAS THE HIGHEST RATED SHOW THEY HAD KILLED IT.
I believe the producers wanted more money or something to make the show better, but SciFi killed it so they wouldn't have to pay for it.
So we are in for the same old lame junk TV shows with no originality.
A: This is a misconception. SCI FI made a conscious decision to promote both Friday night original series equally. All of our promotion was directed at the night - SCI FI Fridays. Therefore, Farscape received equal advertising and promotional dollars as Stargate SG-1, and received more marketing support for the launch of season 4 than it had at any other time aside from its premiere. In fact, over the years, SCI FI has dedicated more promotional dollars to Farscape than to any other SCI FI original series.
This was ridiculous. They did an ok job of promoting it while it was on, the problem was they kepy yanking it off. They would show a handful of new espisodes, then it would get replaced in it's time slot for a few months, and then another handful of new episodes. They never bothered to show re-runs in it's time slot while awaiting new episodes. A good way to build up new viewers would be to give them a timeslot at night and show re-runs, like they did for a lot of other shows. I was (am) a big fan of the show and all during it's run it kept ticking me off how erratic their scheduling was. I'm not surprised at all that they couldn't get new viewers, but it's the channels fault. Evidence number one..it's not even on now, and the new episodes are scheduled for showing in January.
SciFI gets their trained monkeys from the same supplier as Fox. :(
