Title: Monsturd question to Andrew and/or Nathan...
Post by: Chadzilla on November 14, 2002, 07:50:32 PM
So you going to do a review or what...?

"A monstrous piece of sh*t."  Not only does it describe the movie, it describes the plot!  Hehehehehehehehe.

Buy, or not buy?  THAT is the question!

I'll, uh, ask Nathan.  In all honesty, I was going to ask him about another cooperative project first...

Looks like my website is becoming a movie sewer.

(Yup, that review will be full of fecal puns.)

I've got more than a half-dozen screeners ahead of it in line, so it'll be a while until I can squeeze it out.  [rimshot]

Any teasers?  I'm curious what you've got coming up

Clearly you have never seen FILIPINO BATMAN & ROBIN. The only reason I haven't reviewed it yet is because I just can't bring myself to think about it. Eventually, I will. But...such horror! :(

If bad puns were a crime, you'd be on death row. Fortunately, it would be quite awhile before they got around to giving you the chair since everyone who has ever appeared on Hollywood Squares would be ahead of you.

Hey, Foywonder, just a heads up that I got your check in the mail and your copy of Monsturd will be going out to you today. You should have it in a few days. Did anyone in this thread read the "Monsturd" review that appears in this month's Rue Morgue? FYI in case any of you were wondering, Spectrum Films is our distributor (actually their affiliate, Dead Alive Productions is distributing it). They have Monsturd down for an April 8th video and DVD release. If Dead Alive doesn't strike them from the disc, the DVD will have dir. commentary and 23 minutes of out takes and behind the scenes footage. Also, below are a few links to what a few other people have written about "Monsturd."

Among others, there's Death Factory, Inquisition (Random Foo), Serial Killer (Ryan Cavalline), A Galaxy Far Far Away, Death Bed, Amazon Warrior, Interview With the Assassin...  (I'm not at home right now, so that's just what I can remember from the stack.)

Haven't watched it yet, but here's the description from the randomfoo.com website:

"Blind dates are always tough, especially when you awaken the next morning to find you're the prisoner of a serial killer. Now, Daniel and Jennifer are trapped at the mercy of Travis Krieger - the so-called 'Angel of Death', one of two killers going around committing violent murders throughout the city.  Twists abound in this dark tale which will blow your mind."

Thanks for the description. I figured even if you hadn't watched it yet that you'd have some idea about it.
