Here's something I know we've all been looking forward to.
The MPAA has given Steven
Soderbergh's upcoming SF film
Solaris a PG-13 rating, reversing
an earlier R rating because two
scenes revealed star George
Clooney's naked backside, TV
Guide Online reported.
Soderbergh reportedly
persuaded the panel to change
its rating without cutting the film.
Just what I've always wanted to see, George Clooney's naked backside.
: P
Well there's another movie ruined by the RANDOM GRATUITUOS BUTT SHOT!
Give me a rifle and I'll give Mr. Clooney that million dollar wound right where it counts.
AAAHHH!!! Somethin' bit me!! (Forrest Gump...hint, hint)
Clooney's butt? They should have rated the movie NC-120.
It really doesn't amaze me that the MPAA, so heavy with their ratings for films with extreme violence and the usual gratuitous nudity, suddenly backs down for their original rating. Of course, this is all about George Clooneys backside. Even so, it still shows the stupidity of the MPAA and the fact that they just can't support their own rules and regulations.
But, I think we knew about the MPAA's problems before this so it's nothing new.
Maybe he just has "graboid envy" of Kevin Bacon?
I'm not upset about Clooney's butt so much as this is another POINTLESS REMAKE. Can anyone come up with something original for a change?
Soderbergh's quite the crafty one. Not only will Clooney's bare man-ass lure in the ladies, the controversy and PG-13 rating ensures he gets the younger ladies too. Bravo.
Look, if we can survive Graham Chapman standing in a window giving us The Full Frontal Monty ("Monty Python's The Life of Brian"), and the in-your-face pee-pee of Stark Naked Superbaby ("Superman"), I think we can cope with a shot of Clooney's bum.
Jeez, guys--uncomfortable? :D
I just don't want to see The Incredibly Pantsless Hulk. (http://www.superherohype.com/cgi-bin/news/hulk.cgi?newsid1036915154,82164,) SPOILER WARNING.
WOW! Not only does Banner lose control and turn into a Giant Green Hulk, but he also loses his manhood!
>WOW! Not only does Banner lose control and turn into a Giant Green Hulk, but
>he also loses his manhood!
No wonder the Hulk is always so angry!
Oh, thank God, they put his pants back on. (http://www.hulkmovie.com/news/12_6.htm) I think "Neutered Hulk With Retractable Ween" might be a bit...much.
I always thought the reason he kept his shorts had something to do with gamma radiation being like steroids and shrinking his... Never mind.
-----ooo-'U'-ooo-----Kilroy was here.
Bart Simpson, after Homer turned into a Hulk-like creature:
"Thank God his pants stayed on,"
Perhaps, after the first time Bruce Banner became the hulk, he began wearing pants with elastic waists.
The things we have to endure for freedom's sake... Now seriously, if the MPAA changes their minds so easily when powerful people such as Soderbergh or Spielberg (Saving private Ryan) put some pressure upon them, they should reconsider the whole rating system.
