Title: My thoughts exactly

When is James Cameron going to get off his butt and actually make another movie? A five year break is just asinine. "Ooh, I made an Oscar-bait epic that made buttloads of cash and won some Oscars, I think I'll just sit on it!". Spielberg took three years off after Saving Private Ryan, and know what he did? Three movies in a year and a half! Get to work, tubby.

Title: He has been busy....

He has a special on the Discovery Channel about the WW2 German battleship Bismark that was sunk in 1941 coming up on Dec. 11th at 9 pm EST.  that I wouldn't mind seeing.

He actually HAS been very busy lately putting it all together.

Underwater again though.
He's spent countless hours in submersibles and such recording everything for it.  He even took two German sailors who survived it's destruction with him to get the best input and personal backstories.

I read this all in an interview with him in Sunday's edition of Parade Magazine and on the Discovery Channel's website.

Go here to check it out:   It's cool!  It has interactive features plus photos of the wreck including a description of it's final days.

He's obsessed with water.

Too bad he doesn't know anything about water or movie making. That man REALLY needs to retire. Terminator and Aliens were fun and all but otherwise he's no great shakes.

That's nothing to be ashamed of. And all the more reason for him to get back to making movies.

If he's going to pick a decent original script like Aliens, Terminator, or True Lies, then I agree 100% with you guys.

If he's going to make more huge-budget "pretty" movies with grandiose special effects and pompous music that lasts 3 hours and 53 minutes using every cliched emotional manipulation trick in the book, then as far as I'm concerned, he can spend the rest of his life salvaging the entire Kriegsmarine for the Discovery channel.

Oh come on, Titanic wasnt bad at all. It is definitely one of the better movies out there, decent acting, great effects, a solid script, and good directing.
