Just the other day I saw a couple of pics of Nick Nolte in court.
He has cleaned up his appearance a bit.
He has whitish colored hair and a beard & moustache to match.

In my previous post about him I stated that I'd like to see him crawl out of his hole and blow us away with another great performance.
Now that Richard Harris has passed on, I think Nolte would make for a great replacement Dumbledore in the next "Harry Potter" film.
With the right makeup, wig, fake beard, wizard's costume and half moon glasses, combined with his raspy voice, like Harris's, I think he could and would pull it off!
What do you think? Do you agree with me??
Err... fraid not. First off he's not English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish and I think the story is pretty anglo-specific. Secondly, though Richard Harris was a complete lush it didn't come across on film the way it does with Nolte or Peter O'Toole (who in my opinion would be a better choice). I think it would be better to search for an older british actor for the part like O'Toole, Connery or Nicol Williamson who played Merlin in Excalibur
Not likely. The late Richard Harris had an aura of fragility that made the determination of his characters look even more impressive, while Nolte looks strong and determined in all senses, not to mention he still looks too young for the role. What about Edward Fox or Richard Attenborough?
If you like Nolte, try Gary Bussey or Bill Parcells.
Hadn't thought of Attenborough. He'd be perfect for the part.
Connery would make a pretty funny Dumbledore though.
