is anyone planning re-releasing this movie? It's been out-of-print for far too long. Any DVD of it on the way?
You can get a remastered DVD of it straight from the man himself at davidlynch.com. Kinda pricey, though ($40).
If you look through the Ebay auctions for ERASERHEAD, you can find some stuff. They have the Japanese version DVDs for sale, some Laserdiscs and VHS of course. I went ahead and got the Japanese DVD, and it's subtitled, so it's not bad. I already owned an American VHS copy, so worrying about what the characters are saying, and trying to absorb everything Lynch provides in his immense atmospheres isn't as much a problem. But other than Ebay, and davidlynch.com, there aren't any other place I can think of off the top of my head. Oh, and if any of you out there haven't seen the movie, GO WATCH IT. It'll knock you off your sense.
