Someone throw me some good foreign and western films that I may not have seen. Give me some titles you liked.

I must say, Minority Report is EXCELLENT. It restored my faith in Spielburg picking good movies after the A.I. fiasco. Oh, don't waste your time with the third Austin Powers. It is more of a series of skits than movies. Rent Zoolander. It is much fresher and better.
Terror Firmer is great, IF you can stomach excessive (and I do mean excessive) bad taste, Troma-style. Even Tromeo & Juliet looks tasteful next to this one. Personally, I loved it, but I have a friend who still hasn't forgiven me for showing it to him (and I've shown him all of Peter Jackson's early stuff).

Red Dwarf...only Red Dwarf i know is the Brit T.V. show. THATS good.....
Run Lola Run is without any doubt the best German film since "Das Boot". It's not for all tastes, I suppose, as it basically is a 75-min-music video (in terms of editing, photography and visual gags and effects), but if you're into this kind of filmmaking, it may be the ultimate adrenaline buzz...
I had the opportunity to see it in San Francisco during its theatrical run back in '99 (although I had seen it three times in Germany before, but after suffering thru Episode 1 the night before I had the urgent need to see a GOOD movie ;-)). I must say I felt pretty satisfied when the audience (which, thanks to very good subtitles, got nearly every joke - it is, after all, sort of a comedy) applauded, just for the fact that an American audience (and not specifically an art-house crowd) liked a German film...
To cut the long story short, I'm quite confident you'll like it ;-)
Ah, and of course The Two Towers rocks :-) (caught it on premiere night over here, and although I still think I liked Fellowship a bit better, it's more than excellent).

Though I am not a big fan of his work, I recommend Ronald Emmerich's MAKING CONTACT (2 disk DVD containing the not-bad-but-not-so-good U.S. cut and the original German cut titled JOEY). And don't forget to add Geraldo de Leon's THE BLOOD DRINKERS on that list too.
You have to see Red Dwarf. It's really one of the best sitcom's ever. My only recommendation is steer well clear of series 7 & 8 until you've seen all the rest, they're not bad, just nowhere near as good as the earlier stuff.
