Title: Hell Night
Post by: systemcr4sh on December 29, 2002, 01:29:12 PM
Got this dvd from my sister for Xmas. So I popped her in and watched it the other day.

Not really knowing much about the movie other than seeing it around in stores, I didn't really expect much. But I think it turned out to be a really cool little slasher flick. Its got lots of bad acting but the dialogue was never boring I found. For the most part the kills aren't too violent, save two great kills (head chopping, and broken neck). And when Marti (linda blair) first sees a ghost in the movie I was really creeped out. The way the ghost is shown isn't in any ways new or exciting, but just the way the ghost looked was creepy. And the house that is used also gives off a good atmosphere. So overall I thought the movie was a good entry to the 80s "bodycount" movies. It also doesn't hurt that Linda Blair is extremely cute in this movie.

Anyone else checked this flick out?

I saw Hell Night back in the 80's and though it was pretty good. Of course I liked most of the 80's slasher movies.
