Title: Chinese or Japanese cinema?
Post by: Phantom 187 on May 22, 2001, 10:09:36 AM
I saw it in the 80s late night on Showtime or the Super Station. It was a movie from the 70's and the actors were Asian. It might have been from the mid 70's since in one scene the actor wares glasses that are dark on top. I remember some one being buried in the ground in some part of this village but this may or may not be the same movie. The movie I am referring to has one scene which is etched in my mind, a meeting with the boss either for drugs or money but the ending is excellent because the character slices the bosses body in half, head and all.

This movie you are thinking of, is The Story of Ricky, a graphicly violent martial arts flick, which is a cult favorite.

Story of Riki was made in 1993, so I doubt that's the movie you saw in the 80's.Phantom 187 wrote:
