Saw about 30 minutes or so of this over the weekened on Sci-Fi? It got me hooked but then my wife took over.
What's the word on this movie? Should I look to watch the whole thing?
Gotta love Lou Diamond Philips - mr direct to video!!!
I was just looking at this on the shelve of Blockbuster and was wondering the same thing. Is Route 666 any good?
ROUTE 666 is from the director of SCARECROWS, a little gem from '88 that seems to have spawned a cult following and for good reason. If you liked that movie then I definetly recommend ROUTE 666.
I thought it was o.k. I got a copy of it for only a couple bucks so it was good considering the price I paid. Lori Petty is pretty annoying and that gets on my nerves.
I thought it was ok too, but not as good as Scarecrows. The shaky camera work anytime the ghosts/zombies appeared was really annoying, as was Lori Petty. Does anyone believe she could get a job as a cop?
Wow you have my curiousity about SCARECROW and ROUTE 666. I'll have to keep a look out for SCARECROW.
Saw this a couple of times on Sci-Fi. It was worth the price (free). I actually thought it was okay. Some big name talent in there, which kind of surprised me for a film like this (how the mighty have fallen). Some good one-liners too (esp. where Rabbit says "New rule! New rule here!"). If I see it somewhere for cheap, I may pick this one up.

Doesn't anybody read my site anymore? :-)
You have a site? :)
Just seen this as my New Year day movie. Had trouble imaging Lou Diamond Phillips as a U.S. Marshal and former Special Operations guy, but the film was ok. I like desert movies, this one had ghost/zombies in the desert on a closed road off of Rt. 66. One of the ghost is his father. I didn't mind watching it. Better than most straight to video films.
I use to like cheap road movies, thrillers, etc. , so I rented the DVD. Pretty bad film if you ask me. They did a good job for a very small budget, but acting was really annoying, and so were the jumpy action bits. Despite all that panning Lori Petty got, my complains concerning the acting are for both Dale Midkiff and Steven Williams. Do this fellows still consider themselves actors?
Ah, and the version I got on DVD sucked: Only fullscreen, minimal extras and subtitles only in Portuguese. Hope the american edition is better.
