Enjoy your memories of the show.
i used to love that show when i was a kid. time life has put the old shows out on video and dvd. plus they had a new(ish) movie out around christmas which was pretty funny. but i fell asleep watching it and didn't catch the name.
Great show; one of my all-time favorite TV moments is Vincent Price singing "You've Got A Friend" with an assortment of deformed muppets. Anyone know where I can get an mp3?
Coincidentally, I just downloaded "Jim Henson's Dead," a surprisingly respectful tribute to the muppets by the usually peurile comedy-folk singer Stephen Lynch. If you like the muppets and/or Sesame Street, I definitely recommend it.
... that it's really f**kin' annoying to post something without putting the subject in the subject line?
Sure, it's clever, you're making me click on the link in order to see what I'm trying to remember.... but come on now, this is just too damned cliched.
I'm sorry, I don't necessarily mean to jump on Kevin's case, but damn it - that's just been bothering me every forum visit for a few months now and I just had to let it out.

Filk singer Tom Smith did a great lil tribute to Henson with his song, "A boy and his frog". IIRC.
The Muppets knew how to touch base with that lil anacist in all kids. Thats what helped the adults get it. Kinda like Classic Warner Brothers.
