Title: The scariest thing I'ver ever seen
Post by: Deej on February 07, 2003, 09:03:27 PM
I watched the Living With Michael Jackson show last night. Now, I don't wanna bash poor Michael, but I have to say THAT was frightening. If This is Spinal Tap had been concieved as a psych-horror flick, this would have been it!

If they ever film a remake of THE OMEGA MAN, he can star as one of "the family" and he won't even need make-up.

I've only seen a snippet or two while channel flipping and can't decide whether to think of him as a freak (putting a veil over your 6 month old baby?!) or pity him; when he wasn't on stage performing for the world he was busy being abused by his dad.  The guy has never known a normal life, apparently he was to scared to do it with Tatum O'Neal.

There seem to be very few well adjusted former child stars, especially the ones who are extremely popular.

What do you mean, no child successes.
Look at Corey Feldman, he kicked that drug habit like yesterday's news, and was just on a WB reality show with MC Hammer.

OK then

How about Drew Barrymore. She is from an acting FAMILY. Wait she married Tom Green and is kind of a hippie.

Hmmmm.

Despite the evidence, I still think that Jacko is ridiculous

Drew was also an alcoholic at 13.  And the kids from Different Strokes, or hell, go back to the Our Gang kids.  Most all child stars have at least a messed up period of their lives.  Still, none of them can touch Michael Jackson.

you would think that by the time he had the 3rd kid (if they even are his) he might have learned something about how to hold a baby.

Ron Howard and Jodie Foster seem to have turned out pretty normal (of course, as soon as I type this, they'll uncover a closet full of dead cheerleaders or something to prove me wrong). Bill "Will Robinson" Mumy is almost normal... until you look at some of the music he's recorded with Barnes & Barnes (song titles include "Fish Heads," "Dead Baby Hunt," and "Say Hello (To My Penis)").
