Title: Jaws of Death (1976)...(bad shark flick)
Post by: mr. henry on February 23, 2003, 03:52:45 PM
how bad can a shark movie be? about this bad:

Jaws of Death - 1976 (PG). (VHS) Directed by William Grefe. Starring Richard Jaeckel as Sonny Stein. Following an experience in the Philippine islands when sharks saved Sonny's life, Sonny received an ancient necklace from an old man. Once made a member of the mysterious Shark Clan, Sonny gained the ability to communicate with the underwater creatures. Against his better judgement, he allows two osharks to be used in unconventional ways---one even swims with a woman in a bar show. When he is betrayed by the people he trusted, Sonny commands his sharks to kill. Semi-amusing in parts but ONLY RECOMMENDED for the B-fan with a sanity-saving sense of humor.

It sounds like this would make a good triple feature with UP FROM THE DEPTHS and TINTORERA: BLOODY WATERS.

you obviously haven't seen it.   :)

there's a woman who swims in a bar's behind-the-bar tank as a kind of "floor show." Her underwater "dancing" looks like she's drowning due to some type of seizure. this movie would be a great MST3K episode. it really must be seen.
