How to tell your children that Mr. Rogers has moved to a big, new neighborhood in the sky: http://pbskids.org/rogers/parents/feb27.html
I just hope he doesn't ask me to be his neighbor . . .
This is worse than when Captain Kangaroo died . . .

I usually get my omens via my radio when I wake up in the morning. Either the news they run or the first song I hear. Today: "(YAWN) I wonder what today will be like (Listens to radio anouncing the death of Rogers) Awww... CRAP!"
"I have felt a great disturbance in the force, as though we now have an entire generation of tramatized and depresses ankle biters."
------ooo-'U'-ooo-----Kilroy was here.
sad, hope he's in a better place thn this poohole
This isn't fair. Mr. Rogers just isn't supposed to die! He's supposed to live forever! IT'S NOT FAIR! AUGH!
Sorry. As you can see, I'm not taking his death very well. I used to watch his show all the time. I loved every minute of it (except for the puppet show.)
Back in the late 70's and in the 80's I use to watch him will I still do sometimes because of my nephew abd niece. One of my favorite episode is the one with Mr. Rogers and Mr. Mcfeely visted The Incredible Hulk Set and whent behind the scenes with Billy Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. R.I.P Mr. Rogers
Oh I mess up I mean nephew and niece.
yes little Jimmy, he's sleeping....with the fishes
Do you think they'll have someone change his jacket and shoes during the
funeral? VAHHicouldntresist
You do have Reruns... that will make him live forever...
Also (I hope some of you are joking about telling your young children of his death) they were playing old reruns of Mr. Rogers, I dont think he was in his neighborhood for years...
I do think some parents will take this very hard. When they changed actors on Blues Clues it seems like the end of the world, to some of those parents...
Sadly, Mr. Rogers has passed on to the eternal land of Make-Believe . . .
My favorite episode was when he visited the lady who played the wicked witch in "Wizard of Oz." She explained how she wasn't really a witch and was just pretending.

My wife told me the same thing before we got married . . . now look at the shape I'm in . . .

Nice guy, odd image. At least to me. His screen image was sooo natural for comics to riff on. Or parody, ad Nat. Lampoon and Eddie Murphy did.
"Can you say worm food? Sure, i knew ya could" I realise he was a nice guy...but...i can't help it!
I was speechless when I heard the news. I grew up watching his show. RIP Big guy.
