Hey guys, this is my first time posting, but I've been lurking on this web site for nearly two years. Just wanted to say that everyone on here has provided great insight and hours of crappy b-movie entertainment, thanks a lot!
Anyways, there's this video store down the street that's selling VHS tapes for about five bucks a pop. I was skimming through some titles and the movie "Snakeeater" stood out due to its weird title. I've been looking on IMDB and around other sites for reviews, and the verdict seems pretty mixed. I know five bucks isn't that much, but is it worth making a trip to pick this one up? Just thought I would get some opinions from you guys before I go and buy it. Thanks!

It's a typical low budget action movie. Kind of like an episode of Renegade but with more violence. It was ok, but I don't know if I'd spend any money on it.
Hells NO!! While there is plenty to make fun of in this movie, Lorenzo Lamas' presence totally takes away from any enjoyment you may have had. I mean, look, I enjoy bad movies because usually you can find something absurdly entertaining in them. Be it bad acting, directing, cinematography, what have you. But when Lorenzo Lamas is involved, you can't really make fun of these things. Making fun of Lorenzo Lamas because he can't act is like making fun of a deaf guy because he can't hear. It's just the natural order of things, the guy can't hear because he's deaf, Lamas can't act because he's a talentless twat.
What kills me is that Lorenzo is the second generation of self-loving Lamases(or LAMI) to eek out a career as an "actor". How could we have not learned our lesson from his horrid father Fernando? Anyway, that's just my opinion, if you absolutely HAVE to see this s**t-bomb of a movie, it is constantly on cable. Save your dough, brother.
Pretty much worthless cheap "vanity" movie, imo.
Nope, it's trash, even for bad movie lovers.
Yea can't believe i've seen almost all of this
not in one sitting mind you
one thing I really hated were the rednecks,it seemed like they went to shoot on location were these rednecks were and just gave them a job because they were there
aren't their a few sequels to this to?
Wow, thanks for the heads-up guys. I'll stay away from this one. And yeah, I believe there's two sequels. A reviewer said that the movie was silimar to First Blood in its premise, so that's why my interest was piqued. But anyways, I'll stay far away.

There are a few more sequels, yes, but there are more like urban action films a la "Death Wish". Too bad even for us.
