does bennet seem camp to any one else? he wears a chain mail vest, leather pants and sports a freddie mercury type mustache/ass tickler.
He also runs like he's spent the night with an intruder in his back yard.
next time you watch the film and matrix says-i'll be back bennet, just imagine bennet replying with -john, i always loved you john!
it fits believe me.
Either you're overly observant or you're gay.
Pick one!
Of all the things I could think about, Bennet's sexuality is pretty far down the list.
was the pun intended in the last post?

I can't comment without knowing the TITLE of the movie.
I think he means Bennet, Vernon ("Wez" from "The Road Warrior") Wells' character from "Commando." I've just been watching Season One of MST3K, with Commando Cody in "Radar Men From The Moon," so I was confused, too--wondering who the hell "Commando Bennet" was...
And he's not gay, he's just flamboyant.
"Yeah...and I'm a size four!!!"

Well, surely the man was pretty anxious to see Matrix (Arnold's character) again. And now that I think of it, Matrix didn't even tried to flirt with Rae Dae Chong. I wonder if...
I agree with Tuck's analysis of Bennett. He would have fit in well with Al Pacino in the movie "Cruising."
Another character to watch out for is James Remar's character in "The Warriors." A skinny gang-banger with a lisp just doesn't strike fear into me.
Can someone PLEASE tell me which film people are talking about?
Check my last message, Greg.
tuck!
We're all adults here! We're all comfortable with our sexuality! We don't make value judgements about other people's lifestyles!
But, yes, he looks like he Plays For The Other Side.

Well, I do, and that feller is very certainly fond of showtunes, a great dancer, and a FABULOUS interior decorator
(not that there's anything wrong with that)
I'd like to go off the record for a second here and say that the first time I saw the title to this thread I was cracking up. Your post made me laugh because a couple of my friends that I've seen Commando with always hint about the fact the Bennet's batting for the other team every time we watch the movie. But I've always looked at him as Freddy Mercury's campy and goofy twin brother. Either way, Commando's one of the best films of all time.
