If you get called up Andrew, we all hope you kick some butt but you and your team stay safe.
take care man, kill some bastards and come home safe
And Andrew, keep in mind that any imbicile that speaks badly about any member of our armed forces doing their job is just and ignorant bastard without reasoning abilities and their opinions, not being based on logic or knowledge are worth about as much as Hussein's life.
God Bless.
My friend, stay as safe as you can, and make the Corp proud. Oh, and i'm cutting you another tape. Hope you like it.
You be carfefull too, Deej. Hey, any one hear from Black Angel?
Sempr Fi, carry on.
Although I don't agree with the war we are fighting, I still respect and support our troops. Come back safe Andrew.
I put in a prayer request for you and your family at church Andrew. Be safe.
Yeah, be careful and take care over there, Andrew. Although I do not know you personally, I have respect for anyone who's fighting in this war and for our country.
Nick
Holy crap Andrew, when did u get called up? Watch yourself man, it seems that the Iraqis are being very dishonorable in their war tactics (pretending to be civilians, etc.) Who takes care of the board when ytou leave? Anyways, I wish you luck in helping to secure peace, safety and liberty throughout the world. This board will not be as fun without you, I am always honored whenever you respond to one of my posts. Once again, good luck.
agreed.
Did you get called up? If so, take care of yourself and your fellow Marines over there and come back safe and sound.
I have a cousin over there now, I've been worried and concerned about him since we knew he was being deployed late last year.
I wish you rapid and safe return from a mission accomplished.
hope you manage to stay alive and keep your country proud
Thank you all. I have not been given orders to Kuwait or Iraq yet, though most of the Marines from here are gone. What I do have is orders to report to the Commanding Officer, 6th Communications Battalion, Amityville, NY. I report on 1 July 2003, so it looks like a move is in our near future.
The good part is that will put me near my good friend Todd. The bad news is that 6th Comm is deployed and I will probably check in and leave out to catch up with them.
Still, me getting to live in Amityville is a hoot. Somebody at HQMC has a sense of humor.
You'll hafta post some Amityville reviews now I guess. Stat with 3-D. It's a terrible movie that features a young Meg Ryan (as unattractive as she is now for those who may have had hope) talking about having sex with ghosts.

Take care.
Come back safe.
The odds are in your favor. Our casualty rates in the last couple of decades has really gone down, but still war is dangerous. May no harm come to you and may you come to harm no one. Killing another person, deserving or not, has it's own price.
I dont' know that anyone cares, but yea Amityville exists, whether or not it's really haunted is another matter. Read the book, there's an address in there too, apparently the current occupants have had no problems. Still just the windows on the place would keep me from owning it. Creepy story.
