These bloodsuckers from outer space aren't really from space at all. They're from central Texas. Come to think of it, I don't remember actually seeing any of them sucking blood either. Go figure:
Bloodsuckers from Outer Space - 1984 (unrated). (VHS) Written and directed by Glen Coburn. An alien wind invades central Texas and starts zombifying the rural community. Photographer Jeff and acquaintence Julie, a chick that travels with her own tank of nitrous, must outrun the zombie-inducing breeze to stay alive. Meanwhile, some pill popping and whiskey drinking scientists at "Research City" study a zombie through their chemical haze with lackluster results. But things totally turn for the worse when a crazy general gets his trigger-happy fingers on a nuclear bomb. High points include genuinely bad dialogue, bad acting, a good dismemberment, and a decent decapitation via chainsaw (always a crowd pleaser). ONLY RECOMMENDED for those with a keen sense of sanity-saving humor.
Easily one of the funniest "yeah, we know it's a bad movie so we'll make fun of that IN our movie" flicks I've ever seen. Nothin' but love for this one.
