Title: Bulletproof, starring Gary Busey. A film every b-movie lover should see.

Well, what can I say really.  I sat down with a buddy tonight and watched 90 minutes of Gary Busey kicking all sorts of ass.  In this movie Busey is known as "Bulletproof" McBain, and for good reason.  You'll laugh and you'll cry as you watch a psychotic-looking Gary Busey dodging machine gun bullets with the greatest of ease.  Not only that, but Busey insists on calling nearly every bad guy that he meets "butt horn".  What exactly is a "butt horn"?  Hell if I know, but that doesn't stop Gary from incorporating the word into three of the many one-liners he spouts off during the course of Bulletproof.

There's more dead bodies than you can shake a stick at, hilarious action and unintentional comedy abound, naked women, bad accents, "butt horn", a indestructible tank that Busey cruises around in, Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa in a cameo as a prototypical asian bad guy that doesn't say a word, Danny Trejo in a cameo as a prototypical mexican bad guy, Busey rolling down a hill to escape gunfire while strapped to a giant wheel, and the softer side of Gary as he plays the tenor saxophone to impress a girl while on a beach.  If this doesn't pique your interest, then I really don't know what will.  Highly recommended.  Seek out by any means possible and have a blast.

Now I AM convinced that Gary Busey can turn anything into gold.  The man's one of the best b-movie actors of all time, simply put.

"Bulletproof" is surely one of Busey's best B movies, since it was both co-written and co-produced by Fred Olen Ray,had Henry Silva as the lead villain,"Kinjite" villain Juan Fernandez as one of Silva's henchmen, and actually enjoyed a theatrical release(via Columbia Pictures' Triumph Picutres sub-label) back in the late 80s.

As a cheese fest, i'd  lable it yellow chedder, mixed with Burrito sauce.

This was released years ago when I worked in a video store. It was one of those movies that had a great box cover (which made people rent it quite a bit). I took it home one night and I remember watching it with the words, "Huh? What? You must be kidding me . . . " going through my mind throughout the movie. Yes . . . another Busey B-Movie to add to the list . . .

I have this movie too, it's f**king awesome... my favorite line would have to be when McBain's girlfriend tells him "You may be bulletproof, but you're not loveproof!"
