I bought this blaxploitation DVD (part of the "Soul Cinema" collection) a few months ago. I just got around to watching it last night.
Reason's why it is a 1970s drive-in / inner city theater B-movie that is worth watching:
* It is the sequel to SLAUGHTER
* Jim Brown is the star
* It has just enough nudity and violence to keep you interested from beginning to end
* It has a great 1970s B-movie cast, including Ed McMahon (!!!!) as a crime lord, Don Stroud as a hitman, Brock Peters as a cop, and Scatman Crothers as one of Slaughter's old friends
* The blood is that really 70s looking bright red blood, that looks sort of like paint
* It has a nice "funk" soundtrack
* It has pimps wearing groovy suits and big hats

The Slaughter flicks are my favorite blaxplotation films. Everything from the original to Slaughter's Big Hit! Great Great Great STUFF!

I'm a big fan of the SLAUGHTER movies and the SHAFT movies (hell, let's face it, I'm a big fan of ALL blaxploitation movies).
I also recommend TRUCK TURNER starring Isaac Hayes. I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it. Classic blaxploitation ass-kicking scenes.
