Ummm....those are REVIEWS not REVIEW. And what the hell is Ghostbusters doing in that list?
Speaking of which, I saw ZOMBIE 3 recently and it's definitely review-worthy, though it's not quite up to the standards of crappiness of NIGHT OF THE ZOMBIES. It had the same director, though, at least for most of it.
Which Night of the Zombies? There is the Joel Reed version, the director of other such crap like Bloodsucker Freaks. There is another version about WW2 zombies, I think directed by Mattei. I own the former, and it is AWFUL! The review on this site does it justice.
Scottie
That's a hell of a lot of films, especially as Andrew has a new addition to his family.
Congratulations to Andrew, by the way. I have a 10 month old daughter myself and she takes up so much of my life now, it's unreal - but in a positive way.
Personally, I'd like to see him tackle one of my personal faves - either The Wicker Man or The Howling. ( hint hint ).
Robo Vampire desperately needs to be added to that list. I just saw this recently, that is some seriously silly s**t. It involves drug lords, hopping Chinese vampires, a Robo-Cop style cyborg, ghosts, a sorceror who shoots bottle rockets from his wrists, kung fu anti-drug agents, and lots and lots of smoke. May actually beat out Drunken Wu-Tang in the "crazy s**t" category.
...**murders you for suggesting the single greatest piece of cinema ever made, GHOSTBUSTERS**...
I meant the Mattei NIGHT OF THE ZOMBIES, aka HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD. Though I think you might have it confused with another film as it had nothing to do with World War 2. You might be thinking of ZOMBIE LAKE. Both are pretty bad. ZOMBIE 3 is certainly review worthy...with really terrible zombie bird effects, zombies who use karate, talk on the radio, and hide in hay bales. Fulci was originally supposed to direct it, but bailed out supposedly due to health reasons. Mattei took over--Fulci saw the end result and asked that his name be taken off of it---or so one version of these events goes. Mattei desrves some kind of bad movie award for sure.
Well, "Quills" was a good movie for me. I even went with a friend of mine and we both had a great time with it, though at some times I thought she was going to kill me for that. Thanks God it was also her pick.
Anyone looking for a review of ROBOVAMPIRE can find one at Unknownmovies.com along with may other noteworthy forgotten films.
Quills is essentially,a porn movie.
And Ghostbusters isn´t bad,but it´s comedy-horror,which falls in the same category as many reviewed movies.
A good number of those would fit the site and some will get reviewed in time. (I am going to start work on the "Flesh Gordon 2" review soon - if the first fits, the second really fits.) Unfortunately, I know that, even working at it for the next thirty years, I will not get all the films reviewed that I would like.
