Title: house of a 1000 corpses
Post by: wycked nick on May 05, 2003, 06:10:54 PM
Hey has any one seen this movie yet.Wow was it ever f**ked up. It was basicly a rip off of texas chain saw massacre.I would of thought Rob Zombie could have done something more original.

Yeah, it was basically TCM, but I enjoyed it.  I want to see the uncut version, despite the fact that it was pretty damn violent for an R rated flick.

Yeah, this movie kicks ass.  And as I've stated, it was intentionally a lot like TCM because it was an homage to 70's exploitation, especially that one in particular.  Some shots were redone almost frame for frame, like Mary's escape from the lab crawling up through the ground at the end.  I have high hopes for Rob's next movie project, and also for the new record whenever it comes out.  If he keeps moving in the direction of the songs he wrote for HOTC, it'll be unbelievably cool.
