I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle (1989) - A low-budget Brit horror/comedy with some nifty ideas - the machine in question runs on human blood, it refuses to kick-start (It's an antique) in daylight and the detective investigating the murders unwittingly saves himself by having constant garlic-breath. It could (and should) have been so much better, but because of rank bad acting, cheesy gore-effects and a general air of poverty it must be consigned to the badmovie resting place. Incidentally, Anthony Daniels (C3PO in Star Wars) plays a priest who is approached by the bike's owner, and asked to perform an exorcism.
Wow. Sounds like it fits the "Needs to be remade" idea. Great concept, inadiquate exicution. BTW, Todays Dr Demento included the Michael Longcor song, "Truck Driveing vampire" Funny! And it would make a great short film. Gotta love the Corous..."I wear white socks, Drink Blue ribbon, and red-neck Blood" A Vampire Harley....Now thats something ya' don't see avery day, chumley.....
It definitely needs a re-make - although it may lose some of it's-so-bad-it's-good credibility. A Vampire Harley? mmm...interesting. I can't imagine A Vampire Suzuki or A Vampire Honda though.
Yeah. Gotta be a Harley! Those other Bikes just don't have the pizzaz. Hey, how did the vampire bike get the blood in the gas tank? Sounds like a logistics problim, there.What, fangs in the seat? Ouch!
The bike causes multi pile-ups on roads and housing estates, and a little "thingy" (like the lady's armpit "thingy" in Rabid) snakes out and sucks the gore into the tank. No explanation is given for the bike being like this - as I said, it's ultra low-budget.
