Watching Chopper Chicks in Zombietown got me thinking.
It is one of Academy Award (TM-- don't wanna get Jack Valenti mad at me) Billy Bob Thorton's earliest roles.
So who else got started (or had an early role) in b movies:
Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun (on Sci-Fi this weekend)
Helen Hunt was in Trancers (#1 only)
Leonardo DiCaprio in"Critters 4".
Maybe not their FIRST appearances, but certainly some EARLY appearances:
George Clooney - RETURN TO HORROR HIGH and RETURN OF THE KILLER TOMATOES
Kevin Bacon - FRIDAY THE 13TH
Michelle Pfeiffer - HOLLYWOOD KNIGHTS
Sam Rami or Peter Jackson (both had cameos on some of their films).
Rob
Leonarod Dicaprio was not in "Critters 4" He was in "Critters 3" you know the one with the aparment building where almost the whole movie took place. "Critters 4" was the one that took place on a space station. One acttactive acrtress that is doing pretty well was the star of "Tammy and the T-Rex". Now what was her name?
-the first rule of fat club-
Famke Jannsen in"Lord Of Illusions".
Denise Richards, according to imdb
Not exactly a b-movie, but wasn't Jeff Goldblum in the first Death Wish? And yeah, Denise Richards was in some movie, Tammy and the T-Rex or something like that, I believe. I thought I remembered hearing about how Kevin Costner made his debut in some Troma movie? I think it was Costner, but I could be wrong. Oh yeah, and wasn't Sly Stallone in a porno? Can't blame him for kickstarting his career that way. Van Damme made his start in some crappy movie, and I think his character was called "the gay man" or "the gay karate guy" or something like that. I think the movie had the word Monaco in the title. That's all I can remember for now.
Nick
Adam west in"The Outlaws Is Coming".
The Sylvester Stallone porno debute:
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0065904
Don't forget the Sly's immortal acting as Machine-Gun Joe in Death Race 2000!

Shannon Elizabeth in Jack Frost
Marisa Tomei in Toxic Avenger (for about one nanosecond)
Arnold Schwarzenegger in"Hercules In New York".
Actually, Helen Hunt was in several of the Trancers flicks.
Brother R
The Costner Troma flick was SIZZLE BEACH USA.

1, 2, very short in 3, and her picture was on a refridgerator in 6
That's what it was. Thanks, jmc. Was Costner actually in the movie? Did he have a large part in it or anything? I bet around the time of Dances with Wolves/Robin Hood, Costner was probably praying that no one had found out he was in Sizzle Beach USA.

Bill Murray in"Meatballs"

Even before MEATBALLS, Bill Murray was in a movie called LOOSE SHOES. I saw it on cable many, many years ago. It's similar to KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE and THE GROOVE TUBE, only it isn't very funny. I seem to remember Bill Murray in one segment about being in prison. I think it was called "THREE CHAIRS FOR LEFTY."
Michael J. Fox in"Doctor Hollywood".
famke jansen was also in 'relentless 4' - it's definitely one of those 'i can't believe i watched the whole thing' movies. thank god i didn't pay to see it :)
angelina jolie in 'cyborg 2' - like whoa!
okay, somehow i missed this in public school - but it seems everyone except me saw helen hunt in the teen pcp-freak out afterschool special 'angel dusted'. i heard she jumps out of a window - hilarious!
James Earl Jones in "City Limits" (even after he'd been in some A movies)
Travolta in The Devils Rain (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/devilsrain/)
Sandra Bullock in "Hangmen" and the late released "Fire on the Amazon"
I understand that Christopher Lee did a number of films before Hammer made him a star, but the little horror studio is what really made his acting career.
Jack Nicholson pops up as the pain-loving patient in "The Little Shop of Horrors."
Roger Corman was good for a number of careers. If I may add a director who worked with Corman in the early 80's: James Cameron.
Brad Pitt in Cutting Class - the only character I can think of to break every "rule" of horror movies and live!
Then there was Dana Carvey in Halloween 2 (He's a reporter that gets talked to a lot but he has no lines at all)
Also, Nicholas Cage in Peggy Sue Got Married (crazy 'do!!!)
Last but certainly not least, Billy Zane in Back to the Future (he was one of Biff's lackeys)
I saw that clip, I think when she hosted SNL. She actually was a child actor, then seemed to drop off the radar screen for some years.
I've got, haven't watched it yet, The Terror, 1963-- Starting Boris Karloff & Jack Nicholson, directed by Corman
For you to know, the guy who played the masochstic patient(Arthur Denton)in the horror comedy"Little Shop Of Horrors"is Bill Murray.
She actually was a child actor, then seemed to drop off the radar screen for some years.
So Trancers was her comeback vehicle?
i thought the pain-loving patient was Bill Murray?
he he. I guess so. snicker. Hey, she's done well though.
Now if only another Full Moon babe, Charlie Spradling, would show up.

That would be in the 86 musical remake. Old jack was in the first version.
ahh wow.
i am not HALF as witty as i thought i was.
Kim Catrall - Porky's
Tom Hanks - He Knows You're Alone
Timothy Dalton - Flash Gordon (80's movie)
Jason Alexander - The Burning
Rachel Ward - Night School, The Final Terror
Daryl Hannah - The Final Terror
Meg Tilly - Psycho II
Michael Madsen - Wargames
Charles Bronson - House of Wax
Clint Eastwood - Revenge of the Creature
Demi Moore - Parasite
Even more horrifying, he turns up in the earlier film Sextette (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/sextette/) of all things. However, his IMDB page shows a number of films going all the way back to 1968. "Flash Gordon" is probably the movie that got him noticed and helped him become a bond.
Man, I need to watch the shining example of movie making that is "Flash Gordon" again. Between the song by Queen, all the metallic clothing, and the overacting (including Brian Blessed!), it is great fun.
I saw "Flash Gordon" as a kid and thought it was great. Years later, I've seen it many times and I realize how silly it is, and I still love to watch it
ah, nicole kidman... 'dead calm', how could you forget that one?
David Spade and a very young Chris Rock team up in one of the Police Academys called Citizens on Patrol I think it was part 3 or it might have been another movie called Moving Violation. Please correct me if I'm wrong :).

I'm not sure about Rock, but I know i saw Spade in Police Academy 3 (C.O.P.) but did you see Sharon Stone in that one too? Also, as i was channel flipping, I thought I saw Terri 'Lois Lane' Hacher on an episode of Star Trek : TNG. Can I get a confirm on that one?
>I thought I saw Terri 'Lois Lane' Hacher on an episode of Star Trek : TNG
Yup. She also starred in a movie called The Cool Surface with Robert Patrick.
She also came out is Spy Kids 2 just make sure you dont watch the end because she looks uh... fugly
Can't remember what movies they did for Corman but Oliver Stone and Francis Ford Coppola both started unded his wing.
FFC worked under Corman in The Terror, as well as Dementia 13 (saw the first one last week -- cool flick, haven't had time to pop the second DVD in yet.)
mandatory once a week "where did they start" role.
Demi Moore - 'Parasite'
George Clooney - Return of the killer tomatoes
I think they might have already been mentioned I didn't read the whole thread :P
