This thing looks hideous. I thought of you guys after I suffered through the trailer. And before you ask, no, it doesn't look like it's on video or DVD. Something about not having found a distributor yet.
I wonder why....
;)
It's available at some Blockbuster stores - The store I work at has one copy on DVD. I'm the only person to have ever rented it so far. And yeah, it's about what you would expect from a movie about a serial killer made out of s**t. It also tries to be funny, and miserable fails, making the experience even more painful.
Been there and done that. In fact The Foywonder did a review of this awhile back. As did Nathan, over at Cold Fushion Video. Here's his review -

I also believe that Andrew has a screener of it as well. I have yet to see it, but I'll get around to it eventually. How can I resist a movie about killer excrement?

So...what exactly happens in monsturd? give us a synopsies, how does he off his victims?:P let me guess he poops all over themlol
...it's still better than Jack Frost. (Which is exactly what inspired the director to make Monsturd: "I could make a movie about a s**tmonster and it would STILL be better than this!")
Much to my own shock and awe, I actually liked the movie. Not great but a hell of a lot better than most direct-to-video monster movies these days. Here's the link to my review.

Hey, Goreomedy, I totally don't mind if you or anyone didn't like our film. Some people do, some people don't. The truth is we tried. I thought we did pretty good, considering I produced the thing for $3,000 on my credit cards and the movie didn't have any nudity or name actors in it. We tried to be a little different than your standard b-movie fare. Anyway, what was it you didn't like about the movie? Or, more specifically, what can we do differently on our next film to make it a more enjoyable experience? By the way, we're currently gearing up for production on the sequel. It's called RetarDEAD. In a nutshell the story is "Flowers From Algernon meets Night of the Living Dead" Same cast, same town, no poo in this one. RetarDEAD's going to be an all-out gore fest.
