All right (http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=15356). Which one of you did it? Which one of you gave these producers the idea that this movie needed to be remade? Wasn't the Dawn of the Dead remake (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0363547) not enough pain on my poor, poor brain.
No, I'm not going to let this one go. Who did it? Fess up.
I'm not going to be mad this time. The rack and Iron Maiden are for my own personal and private use. I won't commit unforgivable harm upon the person who came up with this idea.
Not like last time.
Honest.
...............
The above nonsense not withstanding, I could give a care one way or the other. It's just that, as a rule of thumb, remakes sucks, and I thought you folks out there might be interested. Thoughts? Opinions? Confessions?

Already been remade. It was called Ghosts Of Mars.
The original ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 was a remake of RIO BRAVO. So I guess the remake of ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 will be a remake of a remake. A fate worse than death.

Kind of like the whole Seven Samurai - Magnificent Seven - Battle Beyond the Stars cycle.
That is kind of dumb if you think of it...
I love Assault on Precinct 13, and the funny thing about the film is the "Gangs" (non-real gangs that is)
And ever since "Colors" any movie that is based upon "real" gangs are almost very true to real life...
and when you think of it... real gangs will never attack any police office, or even have packs of large numbers with clubs... very unreal... when you think of it today...
