If you check the internet movie database you'll see that Mr. Kennedy played in over 115 movies as well as in many popular prime time tv shows. Anybody that has watched tv in the last 40 years has to know Mr. Kennedy. Action, horror, romance, drama, comedy,he is the master of them all! He has reached lengendary status in his fans minds. I just started a video production company and I'm trying to get Mr. Kennedy to join us and be both a teacher and mentor to all the up and coming actors and actresses. An icon like Mr. Kennedy could help take my company to the top!
I will agree, he is a great actor and has had a very good film career. My hat off to him.

George Kennedy is the only reason I still watch the classic" Death Ship" from 1980
Cool Hand Luke is one of my all-time favorite films. George Kennedy is part of the reason.

I love Death Ship despite what Andrew says. And I also loved him in Just Before Dawn.
Being that I am a middle-aged guy with a bit of a paunch and a big square head, I always enthusiastically support any of my own when they make it in Hollywood.

I agree. This is one of my favorite "forgotten" performances. He was also good in THUNDERBOLT AND LIGHTFOOT and the original AIRPORT (before his character "Patroni" became an annoying cliche in the sequels).
