Well, it appears I am going to be "paying dearly" for all my comments about Arnold Swartzeneggar. With MY luck he'll eventually become President
I think you'll be OK. You have to be born as a US citizen to be president. Arnold was born in Austria. You'll just have to settle for him being governor!
Of course, he could become a senator. Or even tbe appointed Seccy of State - ifr the Pres, VP, House Maj. Leader, and someone else I can't remember die, he could then become president - even if he's a naturalized citizen.
And that law could be changed. I hope that doesn't happen anytime soon. Not that I have anything about foreig citizens being presidents of the USA, but that would make "Demolition Man" (hope you remember the Ahnuld puns in that one)the most visionary sci-fi movie of the 20th Century, above "2001" and "Blade Runner", and THAT would be a tragedy.
Alls I know is, if I see one more cutesy play on one of his movie titles on one of the news channels, I'm going to throw something at the TV. So far I've seen "The Running Man," "Total Recall," "Rise of the Machine," and my favorite, "The Poll Predator" (Come on, guys, you can do better than that!).
What about "True lies"?
that would make "Demolition Man"...the most visionary sci-fi movie of the 20th Century
Makes you wonder about those seashells now, huh?
First Arnold, next.. Dolph.
You heard it here first.
And if they changed the law, Arnold as President would be hilarious. Let's be realistic here, Arnold would rip all of the other world leaders to shreds.
Neville's post has me cracking up. Demolition Man would ultimately be looked at as one of the most important movies in history. Just think of the career boost Sly would get then!
Nick
Oh, they're saving that one for when he slips up... I won't even turn on the TV the day he tackles education, to escape the inevitable "Kindergarten Cop" captions.
I'm just wating for Danny Devito as his press secreatary

Exactly what I thought of at mention of him being President, "Demolition Man."
Still one of Stallone's better movies. At least in a fun sense.
