tonight i caught this one"PLAQUE" at the start and ran to my computer to check the listing on this site..once i saw it on the"b-movies on tv"list i began to roll tape..lets see what happens..anyone else watching or previusly veiwed with this one?
PLAQUE?
I've seen a movie called THE PLAGUE, with William Hurt and Raul Julia, but it wasn't exactly what you would normally consider a "b-movie".
Is it like THE DENTIST approached from the other side of the toothbrush?
"OH NO!!! It's the Cavity Creeps!!!"
Oh,man....that gives me a vision. A guy who works in a nuclear whaste disposal site, has a problim. His teeth glow in the dark, and THE PLAQUE begins to grow. He develoups an appitite for human flesh, his teeth get sharp and long and have arguments with each other (Three headed knight, anyone?) , and the constant bickering makes him freak out, and invade a police impound lot, steal a front end loader, and break into candy stores. The excess suger causes his teeth to fall out, where they grow,(Think hydra), and begin attacking girl scouts AND the cookies. The police SWAT team tries to stop the Maurading mandables, to no availe. The guy...remember him?....gets a realy big jackhammer, and takes on the two biggest teeth, in a grudge match of epic perportions. Thier leaders defeated, the other teeth are hosed down with high pressure hoses shooting pure cane suger, and the menace is defeated. Meanwhile....in the whaste basket of a deserted dentist office.....things begin to glow. Starring! ::: The Rock, Lou Albano, and, in the comeback roll of a life time, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper! as Lockjaw! .......................so...........needs work, don't it?
Mr. Flange - remember Python's animation "Conrad Poohs And His Dancing Teeth"? You know, that cartoon with the geezers teeth goin' up 'n' down to crappy fairground organ music. A change of undergarments was sometimes required when watching it in a certain state of mind. Every time I see one of your posts I am immediately reminded of Monty's boys - barking-barmy and extremely surreal! Keep em comin!
This is great!! Yes, the plaque has a mind of its own . . .
Maybe get some of the cast from THE DENTIST & some of those amazing giant wooden teeth props from the film --
Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. Do you think it would do better as a parody, or with a straight face? I think the latter, because its insane enough already...kind of like me.
If it's possible, do it with a straight face - personally some of the visions you conjour up make it impossible for me to keep one. Yes you are insane and it's catching!
