Title: Partially Viewed Films
Post by: Scott on August 24, 2003, 08:24:06 PM
Lately I haven't had the right timing to view a whole movie that is playing on TV. Here are a few films that I have seen parts of this month.

YOUNG GUNS II - Seen the end of this one. Liked what I saw, especially the death scene of Lou Diamond Phillips character.

CHISM - TCM did a whole day of  John Wayne yesterday. I liked the texture of the cinematography. The film was a good taste of the the West.

STAGECOACH - Good direction, images, and direction from what I could see.

THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE - The only scene I seen was of Jimmy Stewart talking.

Well, I hope to catch all of them from beginning to end someday soon.

THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE is, by far, the best of the above movies. It is easily one of the 5 best westerns of all time.
