Burgomaster's recent post about the TERRIBLE idea of bringing "My Big Fat Greek Life" to DVD got me thinking. What are the DVD box sets that you would love to see released?
I would absolutely pass out if they ever released a complete set of Seinfeld episodes on DVD. How fantastic would that be!? Everything from the masturbation contest to the soup nazi! Yes!
Or how about Curb Your Enthusiasm? Larry David is one of the most amazing and funny deadpan actors in a long time. Although it does feel sometimes slightly Seinfeldesc (David co-created Seinfeld), this show has it's own heart. This show is completely hilarious. Shot in the same nature as a reality TV show, it follows Larry David who has no job and goes around just making an ass of himself to people. I do believe that a DVD box set is needed!
Undergrads is another fantastic show that needs to have DVD treatment. Only on for one season, I think that a DVD of this would be fantastic. Great animation, hilarious characters, and just all around a whole lot of fun.
Anyone else?
Undergrads *did* get a DVD release. Last month. Check Amazon.
I would like to see the following TV series get released in boxed sets:
* LAND OF THE GIANTS
* NIGHT GALLERY
* BATMAN (I have the full-length feature film starring Adam West and Burt Ward)
