Hi, trying to locate a b-movie about a guy with a 20 something foot long penis that he uses to strangle people with. Can anyone help me find it? Even for b-movies this plot line is outrageous.
Thanks, Tri
Amazing what a little plot search on IMDB can turn up! :-)
(aka SOUL VENGEANCE)

If I'm not mistaken, Andrew has a review of Soul Vengeance on this site.
The review page is here:
http://www.badmovies.org/movies/soulvengeance/index.html
....and Andrew, I can't download the video clip. It keeps telling me "Internet explorer cannot open the site". Is the clip there, and why can't I get to it?

Weird, I tried it and got a DNS error, but after screwing around with it to try and figure out why it wasn't working (I was able to enter the site name manually and connect to it), now it IS working...

Not for me....I still get the error message about the file not being found.
Something is wrong here, Andrew. Screen capture seen here is what I'm getting when I try to download the clip from the URL http://multimedia.badmovies.org/moviesi/soulvengeance1.mpg

ADDITIONAL NOTE, ANDREW: I just tried a couple of other clips on different pages and NONE of them are downloading. I get the same error message box seen here. Did you change your server or something?

I tried the clip on my computer and it worked fine. Maybe it's something at your end? Either your computer or it's connection. Just a thought.
Hope things get straightened out for you.

Okay, this is weird for me...
As mentioned in another thread, there are no boobs on this site.
Yet, strangely, you can download a video clip of a man strangling another man with his (the first man's) giant penis.
I'm confused.
EDIT - Noth that I'm complaining. I still love this place, homicidal penises and all...
Homicidal Penis. Sounds like a band name...

Well, on the subject of seeing a man strangled by a penis - it is pretty difficult to say exactly what is strangling him. Sure, you know what it is supposed to be, but the effect is pretty laughable.
About the clips not working. That is strange, but they work good for me from a couple of different places. It could be an issue with router's not having updated or some other DNS problem.
You can set the IP address for the server manually, if need be. The following should go in the Hosts file:
69.57.174.250 badmovies.org
69.57.174.250 multimedia.badmovies.org
For example, under Windows 98 there is a file in the Windows directory called "Hosts" - it does not have any file extension (the .doc, .txt, .something) that most do. You can open the file with any text editor, like Notepad, and add the entries. Reboot, and your computer will use the entries instead of looking up Badmovies.org via DNS.
Here should be the locations of the Hosts file for different Operating Systems:
Win98: C:\windows\hosts
Windows 2000: C:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
The other thing to check is to make sure your browser is asking for the file from:
http://multimedia.badmovies.org/moviesi/soulvengeance1.mpg
I move the directory where the movies are every few months. People insist on linking directly to them (including other websites) or forwarding around emails with a link to the videos. That starts to make me worry about bandwidth and it is not the site's intent.

Thanks.

I found the file in the main Windows folder on my system...and it does have an extension (I have Win 98). The extension is .sam

It's saying that it's downloading from multimedia.badmovies.org....the "moviesi" isn't in there when it tries to download.
> I move the directory where the movies are every few months.
Wonder if that's the problem?
I still couldn't download the clip, so I'm changing the Hosts.sam file back to what it was.
This time, I searched my ENTIRE drive for "hosts", and found several different ones, hosts.sam ....THREE different ones, one in Windows and two in two different subfolders in my AOL program folder, and also similar files named Lmhosts.sam in Windows and AOL.
This is strange, because in the past I've NEVER had any trouble opening clips on your site. :-(
...I'm still having problems. Any other ideas on what's going on here?
Sorry for the delay. I am pretty much unable to check the board until I get home in the evenings (just got in). So, often the only times I will be on here is evenings and on weekends. Someone watches the board for me (for stupid posts, etc.) during the day, but they are in passive mode only. The situation will only get worse as the Christmas season draws near, because Toys for Tots is a giant bear of a responsibility.
Anyway, the file is called just plain "Hosts" - the Hosts.sam file is an example or something. It does nothing. You might need to make the file, using Notepad. It cannot have any extension, the file must be named just "Hosts"
I just tried again, and it's still working for me. Takes a little while to find the site, but it works.
