The film CONFLICT is good earlier this week on AMC it stars Humphrey Bogart. Bogart murders his wife and go's crazy as law enforcement and his psychologist close in on him.
Humphrey Bogart should be a cult classic. Try immitating this guy and you'll understand. How many movies did he do with that voice. He is an oddity in film history. Peter Lorre is another.

for Humphrey, I like The Revenge of Dr. X, or some title like that. One of his first roles.
Brando has "The Wild Ones;" Laughton directed "Night of the Hunter;" Edward G. was great as "Scarface;" Cagney was in my all-time favorite "White Heat;" Abbott & Costello were in too many to mention; Dean rocked Rebel Without a Cause; Alan Ladd....well, dammit I love Shane; Chaney Jr., Lugosi, & Karloff too many to mention; Peter Lorre rocked in The Raven; and who can forget Orson Welles' final film appearance as the voice of Unicron in Transformers: The Movie?
James Dean in EAST OF EDEN is a good one will.
Oh yeah, love East of Eden.....and of course Giant......too bad those three are his only films.....he could have been great in others......
Bogart and Edward G. were great buds & did a whole bunch of films together -- and not just gangster flicks either. "Brother Orchid " is a good one.
If you haven't seen it, check out Edward G.(No Bogart) in "Scarlet Street" by Fritz Lang. Made in 1934 or thereabouts, it is a touching tale of murder, deception, evil manipulation of emotions, artists, and sexual tension. Could easily have been a 2-part Twilight Zone episode, if they ever did those. This is one great picture that gets lost in the shuffle sometimes. Robinson could play touching romantic parts very well, but got typecast as a gangster.
