Title: Anybody see Al Adamson's PSYCHO A GO-GO yet?
Post by: Chris K. on November 07, 2003, 02:02:09 PM
Just asking to see if anybody here has seen the new DVD release of the 1965 Al Adamson film PSYCHO A GO-GO yet? I've been having a hard time looking for it. I do know that Troma Entertainment released it, but has anybody seen it or picked it up?

I haven't seen it, but if it is anything like his other movies, you'll spend half the movie laughing and the other half sleeping.

Actually, from what I heard about the film from critics who saw it during it's brief U.S. theatrical run said it was pretty good (the only thing that ruined it for the critics was the title). The plotline is a mixture of crime thriller and horror, with go-go dancing and song numbers. Considering Adamson's later work, PSYCHO A GO-GO might be a decent watch.

I do hope it is better than the U.S. re-release version BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR. And from watching that, the existing PSYCHO A GO-GO footage in that film really looks promising and hopefully the original complete cut will be worthwhile.
