Good question!

I was also wondering about those two films being reviewed on here.

I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoyed both films.  I even saw "Good Burger" in the theater!  (I worked at the theater at the time so I didn't have to pay for it)
I thought the first "House Party" was good but every one after it sucked.  I also used to listen to alot of Kid n Play in the early '90's.  I think I still have one of their tapes boxed up somewhere with all my old junk.  Maybe I'll dig it out and give it a listen.
Hopefully those movies get reviewed here sometime.

There is definitely an emphasis on horror/scifi/fantasy here.  I think it is because one can really laugh his ass off watching a bad horror/scifi/fantasy movie.  A bad comedy is - by definition - one that you DON'T laugh at.

But that doesn't mean you can't do a hilarious review of such a movie.  See the following for a great tongue in cheek take on Goodburger:

I really hated Good Burger, I was in the age group that was targeted for this movie and I just didn't get why I should like it. Of course, at the time I was a snide little bastard.

I am not a fan of bad comedy movies, but they do exist and a few of them are okay. For the most part, Action/Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Horror are the best genres though, they seem to be the most plentiful of crap. Which is always fun.

Good Burger.... Is that the movie where they go to burger university and go to burger church?  Where they gather for a mass and sing "Burrr-ger-luah!" If so, I do remember the movie getting a few laughs outta me. I especially dug the laxative milk shake bathroom scene! Gross!!!

As for House Party... I've always hated Kid 'N' Play so my opinion would'nt help on this one.

You're thinking of Hamburger the Movie.

Good burger was with those 2 kids from Nickelodeon and the one hits Sinbad's car so they have to get jobs to help pay to fix it.

I think some of the problem is that bad horror/science fiction movies can work as comedy, but bad comedies don't work at all.

Good Burger was the first place I ever saw Linda Cardellini. She was the patient in the mental hospital with the things in her hair.
