Title: Best "tough guy" or "tough chick" costume
Post by: The Burgomaster on November 21, 2003, 02:13:20 PM
In many action movies, the heroes are dressed in flashy, often over-done costumes.  They are often made of leather or some sort of tight-fitting material, and may show off the actor's/actress's muscles, cleavage, legs, etc.  Some examples are:

*  Snake Plisskin's sleeveless shirt, tight pants, and eye-patch in ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK

*  Rambo's pants, boots, and no shirt in RAMBO, FIRST BLOOD PART II

*  Arnold's black clothing and leather jacket in the TERMINATOR movies

*  Bruce Willis's sleeveless T-shirt in DIE HARD

*  Pamela Anderson's skin-revealing outfit in BARB WIRE

What are some of your favorite "tough guy" or "tough chick" costumes?

The outfits that "The Boys" wore in Bad Taste to take on the aliens.

Could someone tell me why the cop outfits in the Mad Max movies had a single shoulder pad? As far as the Terminator, I don't think  Ahnold  could ever fit in Bill Paxton's clothes.  "Talk to the hand!"

Best tough girl  outfit ,  Virginia Hey (Zhaan from Farscape) in The Road Warrior.  If you didn't know  she was in the movie, she  was the blonde with the big shoulder pad rig who manned the turret on the tanker  Max was driving.

Ash's classic brown pants, ripped workshirt, hiking boots (which evolved from some pretty gay moccasins somehow), gun holster, and chainsaw.  It gets no more bad-ass than that.
But Snake is pretty b***hin' too.  And Harley Stone from Split Second, with the big Rob Zombie boots, the duster jacket and the gatling gun, of course.
