Very underrated flick.
Excellent musical score, great effects, nice acting.

I like how the spiders were unable to break down the windows, so they had to come through the ceiling instead.

But considering the dreadful spider movies I have seen lately, such as awful Spiders, too-awful-to-be-true Giant Spider Invasion and even-worse-than-Giant-Spider-Invasion Arachnia, it seems now Arachnid was a pretty good movie after all. Besides, Alex Reid is a great Lara Croft-lookalike.

Yeah, right...

At least the writer had connections with Jim Wynorski

And Spiders 2: Breeding Grounds is cool. Don't know if I would watch it again, or spend money on it. I haven't seen the unedited version.

Nothing to write home about, but the direction was effective, the action well paced and the FX competent. If only they had bothered to read the script before the shooting... characters are non-existant, and there are incongruencies to fill several Michael bay movies. At least is waaaaaaay better than "Faust", the previous film from the very same studio.

Was this on SciFi not too long ago?  I think I saw it on there.  Aw, forget it.
