Alex Nicol, who gave us these two beauties (he was the General in A*P*E, and the director of The Screaming Skull as well as "Mickey The Gardener"), passed away last week.
"What are you staring at? Is my fly unzipped?"
Bless you, sir. You were mad.
Nicol was in only one really good movie, The Man from Laramie, directed by Anthony Mann and starring Jimmy Stewart. He also was in Strategic Air Command with Stewart, which I haven't seen. You forgot to mention Nicol's absolute worst film (yes, even worse than A*P*E): Sincerely Yours, starring ladies's man Liberace!
My...Lord....this.......is sad. On the other hand, at least in A.P.E. his character was fun.....and, he was not that damm puppet! I still hate that puppet you know.......................................................
