My mom usually asks for some ideas for christmas presents and I usually make out a list of dvds and such. I noticed that any christmas list I make I always list second rate titles that I want but not actually bad enough to buy on dvd myself. That way I get something that I actually want but stuff I won't buy for myself before christmas. Does anyone else notice themselves doing this?
I just realized how old I am. My mom called me the other day and asked me if I'd like anything for Christmas, and I asked her to get me some new tires. I hung up and then was like "f**k! Why didn't I ask for the Christopher Lee Collection?" I hate being old.
I just started asking for clothes and stuff like that also...things I would've avoided asking for christmas back when I was in high school or still in college.
I just drop little hints here and there... ; )
I usually encourage people NOT to buy DVDs for me. I prefer them to buy me a gift certificate so that I can shop for my own.
good point but deepdiscountdvd had their 20% off coupon last week and after spending over $200 (saved about $50 with the coupon) and I gave that info to her to get some that I didn't pick out yet
I'm getting the Two Towers deluxe special edition, with Gollum. Definitely gotta get the expensive ones as gifts.
What *I'd* really like is a Tempur-Pedic mattress, and silk bedsheets...but of course that'll never happen.
I prefer money.
DDVD has coupons? I never noticed any and I've been going there for a long time.
yeah there were 5 or so 20% off coupon that all expired on 12/5, Dvdtalk, Dvdsale, and Usatoday were the ones that I knew off but I heard of a couple others that I don't remember off the top of my head
I'd like a new body and a mind with more capacity. Thanks for asking. I know I'll get one later, but it dosn't hurt to ask.
