It is kind of sad...he seemed like a really friendly whale that hundreds of people loved.
The thing is, if they do decide to bury him on land, how the heck are they gonna do it and where the heck are they gonna put him!?

yeah its sad. hopefully the big guy is in a better place now.
They used to make really good chewing gum out of whale blubber. Eskimoes did, hence the saying "chew the fat"..i guess. Maybe they could sell him at Sea World so he'll live on and on...at least for awhile.
Not that this statement is in any way sympathetic to the passing of Keiko
;-)
I live in a tiny, boring, grey and cold country.... but at least we can boast about killing off that damned whale.....
"Game over man! Game over...."
Poor Keiko. He didn't even take out one fishing boat.
Orca (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076504/) he wasn't...
I read about it and the article I read said that they wanted his bones for a museum.I read the article at Azfamily.com.
>>they wanted his bones for a museum<<
They want his bones?
no, no no!
Free willy!
That's funny, he won't be free even now! At least I hope they can the meat instead of throwing it to the trashcan. My parents had whale steak on their honeymoon and said it was quite tasty.
On the other hand, I admit the new is quite sad. And I found quite outrageous that Warner Bros. gave only $1 million to free Keiko after milking him for three movies.

Maybe they can make willie into burgers and pass them out free of charge
Free Willie Burgers
ok, enough with the tasteless jokes..hehe
Oh Man.....you guys are cruel!
Hehe!
