Title: I recon Deathrace 2000 requires 5 stars
Post by: mr bongo on December 18, 2003, 11:05:31 AM
easily one of the best b-movies ever. It has everything, death in the title, thousands of random gratuitous acts of violence involving pedestrians, breast shots galore, david caradine, and sly (in possibly his only decent role).

It's gotta be one of my faves. Give it more stars dagnammit.

Like the site btw.

Pretty good flick, I must agree.

Little tidbit of useless info-Death Race 2000 for the Atari was the first game to be banned for violence.

Running over little stick figures in a stick car was too horrible for some I guess.

This is one of those movies that I watch about once a year.  You must admit, it is very entertaining.

I saw this the first time back in my Navy days. It was a hoot  and still is, just saw it again a few months ago.

I used to have the game Carmageddon . You win by making the laps first, racking up points by running down pedestrians, or smashing  up the other racers. I especially like  getting into the football stadium and  chasing the players around.  You can also run over cows on one course.

My kind of game, no stinking story  just carnage.

I loved this movie. But David Carradine in a skin-tight latex suit was a bit much, to be honest.

I first saw this movie on a local UHF station at 3 am. I was channel surfing with a friend, trying to find something to crash to, and wound up staying up for the entire thing, totally awestruck. Great flick.
