Title: List of Film to Purchase
Post by: Scott on December 27, 2003, 09:54:44 PM
I have a whole bunch of CD's that I never listen to. About 50 CD's and about 5 DVD's to sell at the CD exchange store  for some money to by the films below:

Alucarda - $20
The Hired Hand $20
Coffin Joe $20
The Story of "O" $24
Vampyres $20
The Sadist $6
I Bury the Living $7

I'm hoping to bring in enough to buy these films while adding a couple of extra dollars. Maybe I'll check out Deep Discount for better prices. The ones above I've seen at different stores.

I haven't seen many of those. Actually, probably only one, if  "I Bury the Living" is the one with the great Richard Boone. A memorable B-film with an unusual horror aspect to it.

Yep, that is the one. The one with Richard Boone.

Alucarda - $20 . . .  I also want to buy this, but isn't it a full-screen version?  I'll probably buy it anyway, but I wish it were available in widescreen.

The Hired Hand $20 . . . I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not familiar with this movie.

Coffin Joe $20 . . . Which one?  I have AT MIDNIGHT I'LL TAKE YOUR SOUL and THIS NIGHT I'LL POSSESS YOUR CORPSE.  Both are very good.

The Story of "O" $24 . . . I also want to buy this, but it's not high on my list.

Vampyres $20 . . . Which one?  I think this title is used about every 5 years.

The Sadist $6 . . . Arch Hall, Jr. . . definitely worth $6.

I Bury the Living $7 . . . I had this years ago on VHS.  Not bad, but it's not really worthy of repeat viewings.

Burgomaster,

COFFIN JOE (the original, for now)
VAMPYRES (1974)
THE HIRED HAND (1971) Western with Peter Fonda
THE STORY OF "O" (because I liked it at 17)
I BURY THE LIVING (just liked that title, but not all great titles are good. I'll have to see for myself)
THE SADIST (Archie Hall Jr.)
