ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE (1958) - FLIX showed this on classic 50's film this afternoon. I hadn't seen it in 30 years as Monster Movie Matinee use to show it often during the 70's. The film is still great. It's about a doll maker/puppeteer who has a device for shrinking people. Then he puts them in to clear cylinders till he decides to awaken them. They naturally try to escape while the doll maker is pre-occupied. A police detective is closing in on the doll maker so he decides to kill himself and his little people............... This is a good film. Check it out one day. Its an AIP film.
Can anyone think of any other shrinking or growing films?
The Amazing Colosso Man
Attack of the 50ft Women

My absolute favorite is THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN. You've also got THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING WOMAN with Lily Tomlin.
BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN seems like the inspiration for DOLL PEOPLE since there is a memorable scene with tiny royalty in glass containers.
Variations on GULLIVER'S TRAVELS don't necessarily have shrinking or growing. Just conflict and resolution between pre-existing big and little people.
Heck, you could argue the original THE FLY falls into this category since the human head and hand shrink and the fly's grows.
