Title: OT: Mean things your older sibiling(s) and their friends have done to you.
Post by: daveblackeye15 on January 13, 2004, 03:12:38 PM
That "What about Xtro" topic reminded me of this story:
The night I rented Xtro my brother had one of his friends over whose name was Nick. Nick is normaly a nice guy to me  but he must have been in a cruel mood. After the scene in Xtro where a woman gave birth to a adult man I shut if off because I just felt so scared and sick (I was 8 back then so up to that time I had never seen anyting so gory before). The next day while I was passing me and my brother's room. Nick's hand suddenly shot out and grapped the side of the door framing. He was lieing on his stomach and was screaming  "Xtro's got me and your brother David!!" Then I heard my brother screaming out very loudly as if he was in pain. Then Nick slide back into the room. I heard a several loud *THUD* sounds and Nick and my brother come scarmbling out. Nick says "I was able to grap a large book and hit him in the head with it and he let us go, but he's still under your bed David." And at that I was just so freaked out I ran down to the familiy room screaming. Later that night my brother got lecture from mom and dad. But today the three of us laugh at it.
Anybody have a partically mean memory of their sibiling doing something mean to you?

HAHAHAHA oh man I remeber doing things like that.Im the oldest of my family, my brother is my only other sibling. Now me and my brother are two completely diffrent people and that sparks some monumental fights. After one particulrly bad fight my brother decided to get his revenge by throwing some of my toys down the stairs, smashing them all.My parents were able to prevent me from killing him but I was determined to get my revenge.
We had bunk beds my brother slept on the bottom.Later that night after my brother went to sleep, I  took plastic wrap and wrapped it  around his bed posts.I wrapped it really tight so it would not be easy for him to get out.
Latter that night I was woken up by a loud scream. My brother was freaking out beneath me, trying to get out of his bed.He was yelling "let me out, let me out".Of course I didn't let him out, I just started cracking up.My parents didn't think it was too funny though. They came raceing up stairs and after they saw what I had done they tanned my hide pretty good.
My brother was left traumatised for years by that experince. He hated being in inclosed spaces after that, so often I would lock him in a closet.

Too funny fellas! ; )

I remember a time when my older brother tormented me. I was about five years old at the time and my mother had bought me this blow-up Santa figure. (Ok people... get your mind outta the gutter. ; ) ) Anyhow, my brother hated the fact that my mother always spoiled me so he decided to poke holes in it with a needle. I ran and cried to my mom because he was deflating. Then she got upset and whooped my brother good.

He was just p**sed because she brought me a toy from the store and all he got was a lolly pop. We still joke about it to this very day.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Good times...

I did??  Hm... I don't remember the incident as well as you do, apparently.  Watching Xtro must have given my brain damage or something.

I had seven, yes I said seven older brothers.  I am lucky to have made it through childhood.  Actuallly most of them were out of school already by the time I can remember anything.

My two brothers next up the line from me (4 and 7 years older) took great delight in torturing me, especially the younger of the two. I was watching my  Dad mow the yard one day when I was about  6  years old and I got hit with a rock thrown from the mower. I had a terror of anything with a motor on it  for a couple of years after that.  Guess what  I got chased around with when no adult was looking.  It wasn't really that dangerous because I usually was up in a tree by the time  they got close to me.

I got him back good one time when I was about 8.  We were messing around with a golf ball and wondered what it had inside . We cut it open and started unraveling the big rubber band inside. It was summer and my brother wasn't wearing a shirt and we had this thing stretched out about 30 feet when I decide to release my end.  My brother had this giant red whelt across his chest  and I was running to find the nearest adult.

I was always the oldest so usually it was me who did the torturing.

My favorite thing to do to my brother when we were younger was to put him in the "bear trap".
With a bear trap you basically imprison little brother by holding him with your legs and exerting as much pressure as possible.
He would always begin screaming to be let out!

The good ol' headlock always worked well.

Later in life before he died recently, my brother got to be as big as me if not a tad bit bigger.
It was much harder to keep him in a headlock without me ending up in one of his!

Being the oldest, I didn't suffer that kind of thing.  But here's the best I ever didto my youngest sister.  She had two stuffed cats that she loved like they were her children.  One day when she was about five she walked into out den and shreiked in horror when she looked up and saw them spinning wildly tied to the blades of the ceiling fan. Mwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

20 years later, she still talks about what a jerk I was for doing that.

My older brother tried to kill me..many times. Once trying to shove me down a staircase, another holding me hostage wrapping my wrists in wire and zapping me with one of those electric static guns. Couldn't know where to begin in the scaring area, he endlessly tormented me with bloody mary, fake spiders and ghost stories. It started when I was 2 and he told me a ghost lived in the basement when we lived in germany. Then he would go down there to get him..and he would put on a sheet and come up the stairs.

needless to say i spent half of my childhood wishing i had a younger sibling to torment.

HAHA thats a good one Eirik, I used to do the exact same thing with my brothers stuffed animals.I remeber the time I did it to one of his favorite bears. When he came into the room I turned the fan on high and its head ripped off its body.My brother hated me for years because of that incident.

Excellent!  One thing I won't ever forget however is my dad coming home that night.  He could care less about the stuffed animals, but he gave me his best evil eye and said "If anything goes wrong with that fan, I'm taking it out of your ass."

I think my heart about stopped every time someone turned that fan on for several weeks afterward.

Once I hog tied my younger brother with a leash, then I left him there while I took the dog out.  I came back about ten minutes later, and my mom had untied him and told me I was grounded.

Heh heh.....

Count your blessings. I once saw a documentary about how in the wild among animals and birds it is extremely natural for siblings to kill eachother to ensure their own survival. Birds shove the other out of the nest to compete for food, others will peck, kill or steal food from the weakest.

Some small part of my believes that this is a programmed behavior in children. Even tho me and my brother are older and more.. mature, i think under the right cirumstances we'd probably revert back to childhood. After all, I may be all grown up but the invisible line in the backseat of the car cannot be crossed ;-)
