No, that is the woman who runs the school. She is also Lauglin's wife in real life.  This girl was just some redheaded actress that was in the movie. I can't remember her character's name.

     Remember the posting the letters scene (before the ice cream parlor fight preceding flour humiliation by Bernard). She's also heroine involved with the indian lad by the lake before he was killed.
