Title: The Hills Have Eyes Yet Again
Post by: Cullen on February 07, 2004, 11:14:51 AM
This might be common knowledge around here, but the well of already done horror is being tapped once more, as the Powers That Be are remaking The Hills Have Eyes.  Click here (http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=1534) and here (http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=1953) iffin yall's curious.

Cullen's Take - At least Wes Craven's name is attached to the project.  Shows a bit more respect than SOME remakes...  Then again, its not like Craven's name is a guarantee of quality anymore, is it?

Why ask why?  Try....

Ah, hell, that one's too old.

I assume somebody is feeling a little poor right now and wants to rectify that situation.  Can't be for artistic reasons.

Can it?

Given that Craven also helmed The Hills Have Eyes Part 2, his name has NEVER really been a sure sign of quality.

From what I've read, Hills Have Eyes 2 wasn't entirely Craven's fault.  But a vaild enough point, nonetheless.
