So I've got this idea for a movie starring William Shatner, Burt Reynolds, Lee Majors, Charlton Heston, and Mr. T as an aging team of superheroes who have to band together for one last adventure to save the world from the machinations of some evil genius.
There's my generic story pitch. Anybody besides me think this is a good idea?
Oh, and since you guys are as close to experts on genre films as you can find, I have a question. Who do you get to play the villain with a cast like that?
Jeremy Irons, that's who plays the villain. MwooAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Brother R
Not bad, but maybe not badass enough. I really wish Vincent Price was still alive.
Is Ricardo Montalban dead? He's a fun villain.
Any movie with Shatner and Reynolds would be classic.
As for the bad guy.........................................Christopher Walken? I would love to see him as a megalomanic evil doer.
Wait...it's been done.
Nevermind.
Great idea, only problem is you can't get Heston anymore. How about Clint Eastwood.
When I first learned that John Lithgow was the bad guy in "Cliffhanger," I thought "what a rip." Actually, after seeing it, I thought he made a pretty good bad guy (the best part of the movie, actually...). If he's not your main antagonist, at least maybe he could be a sidekick. He's got that snotty way about him when he wants to show it.
That is a great idea. Your replacement for Heston (since he's unavailable now) is Doug McClure.
Your villain is the guy who played Grandpa on the Munsters. Crispin Glover is the henchman.
Jamie Lee Curtis is the love interest who winds up with Reynolds.
I read something last year about William Shatner making a movie with Harry Hamlin, where Shatner is a psychotic screen writer who takes a film crew hostage and makes them film his screen play.
Anybody know anything about this? Shatner does psychotic very well .
