The name's a little weird but what I mean is: words/slang that you have created yourself. No wait that's pretty much the same thing . Anyway, two of my favorites are....(for something that's Bad Bad) "CRAPTASTIC!!!" (I love that one) and....(for somebody/something that's really stupid and simple) "stickbox" ( A little strange but it works for me.) So has anyone else created their own slang?

Video Gamey - Any lame film based on a video game
Non-actor - Any actor who stands in front of the camera, goes through action moves and makes no attempt to act. My favorite non-actors are Dolph Lundgren and Jean Claude Gosh Darn.
Click Flicks - Any movie centering on or around people who are required to spent most of the movie sitting behind a computer terminal clicking on a keyboard. ex: Hackers and Anti-Trust
OT: Oh yeah I've seen your site Selk I liked your "Top Ten Worst movies of the year" I hope you'll be updateing soon. And I consider BadMovies.org to be my favorite "Shrine to Bad Movies" also.
No offense Dave but I consider CRAPTASTIC to be without a doubt one of the WORST words I have ever heard and I seriously doubt that you & you alone created it.
Someone else probably coined it long ago so I'm sorry to bruise your ego.
I think ego was the sole reason for your writing this thread...you think that out of millions of people and thousands of years of human existence that YOU were the only person to have made up that word...gimme a break!
Your phrase that you DID NOT MAKE UP AND HAVE NO PROOF THAT YOU DID may be admired by a few here on this board but I'm not one of them.
I understand that your use of that word is to describe a bad movie but I'm sorry friend, It falls WAY short and only makes me think disgusting thoughts.
For those that ACTUALLY like that word, I seriously worry about you.

I agree with Ash's comment that Craptastic isn't an original [I use it sometimes, go ahead, worry about me Ash, I'll still use it!]
Though I'm not so upset about it as he is. Maybe he created it and is just p**sed off.
Wow Ash, that was a little harsh, don't you think? If he wants to think he made up the word, what's the harm? You were a little quick to jump all over him for nothing really. Relax a little and don't let things bother you so easily.

Hallucinagen- (ha loo sa nah jen)- Verb hallucinating.
Awesomeosity-(awe sum o sit ee)- Adj. having the quality of inspiring wonder fear and reverance [I'm gonna get this word mainstream]
Fake- (fake)- Verb 1. to mess. 2.to forget. ie fake you. <> Noun an expression used when questiopning someones motives or reliabilty. ie The fake are you talking about?
Helicase- Noun 1. The enzyme in your DNA that is responsible for the zipping of strands in DNA replication to occur. Therefore responsible in part for what a person does. ie What in your helicase is wrong wiht you. 2. Expression used when questioning ones reliability on a subject. ie What in the helicase are you talking about?
Whatevadafake- (wut ev ah da fake) Noun Term used when one feels that saying anything else is unnecessary.
Agivate( aj iv ate) Verb. To agitate and agravate at the same time.

You may be closer to your goal than you think. I often stick "-Osity" on the end of a word, mostly because I'm crap with the English language, but , also because it makes me laugh.....but so does the word "craptastic"...and Gallagher....and people falling down....lesson learned: I'm not at all discerning in my sense of humor.

Who knows if anything we do is original, because humans are some of the greatest mimics ever. I hope that somewhere, during some part of my life, I do something completely original - not influenced by anything I have ever seen or heard.

I never said that I truely created "CRAPTASTIC" I always assumed I just sorta recreated the word or brought it back from the dead, which doesn't mean I'm the first to create it. But some people started saying it was cool and funny, and I never heard YOU or anyone else tell that they have heard the word "craptastic" from somewhere else before. I hope I don't offened you by keeping "CRAPTASTIC!!!" as one of my quotes but I like it and I think it's funny. So here we go: (deep voice) I ,DAVEBLACKEYE15, HERBY PROCLAIM THAT I WAS NOT THE PERSON THAT FIRST CREATED THE WORD "CRAPTASTIC!!!" I JUST LIKE TO SAY IT ALOT FOR SOMETHING BAD BAD. Yes I was in an extremely bad mood when I wrote that.
I got left at the bar and had to walk home thanks to my so called friends.
It was freezing outside and the walk was darn near 5 miles.
So you can see that I was in a pretty bad mood when I finally got home and jumped on my p.c.

It may be a developement of parallel creation (Something I have encounted, I come up with an idea but before I can market it, I go to a store and see it on the shelf.)
BUT, "Craptastic" was used in a Simpsons episode. It was a Christmas episode. Homer plugged in the Christmas lights on the house and asked what everybody thought. Bart said, " It's CRAPTASTIC Dad."
Still cool though.

Neither the title or the movie poster shows up for either of these. The URLs for the pics start with file:// which only works if the pics are on your system. For example, the URL for the Street Fighter poster is;

I don't think I've ever made up a new slang word. My friends and I have adapted a new slang term, though. Last year at college, the cops were called onto campus to investigate some disturbance reports. They didn't find anything illegal going on, said the newspaper report, just "a few kids kicking a fridge in the parking lot." Since that article, we have referred to "hanging out" or "chilling" as "kickin' a fridge."
Everything else I just steal from MST3K.

Beautimus- I have no idea why we started saying it, but basically it's a sarcastic replacement for Beautiful.
After going out to numerous dodgy pubs and clubs, me and my girlfriend have come up with a few words describing some of the people in there. We did this so we could talk about them in a bad way without getting into trouble.
First we have 'Sko', short for Skanky Ho, those girls who prance around thinking they're hot s**t, but just come off easy and SKANKY! :P
Then there's a variation, 'B Sko', or 'Bogan Skank' Same as Sko except more white trashy and Bogan.
I really need to go to classier places more often.

Queefburger is one we used when I was a kid, I have never heard it used outside of my circle of childhood friends!! Good to know other people have taken up the cause of the word "queef" one of the most unused and under appreciated of all genital slang words!
Of course, dude. "Queef" is actually a popular word amongst the Class of 2004.
